Platform manipulation and spam policy

Platform manipulation and spam policy

 You may not use the LibonPost Services in a manner that is intended to artificially amplify or limit information or engage in conduct that manipulates or disrupts people's experience on LibonPost .

 We want Lebanon Post to be a place where people feel they can make human connections, find reliable information, and express their opinions freely and safely.  To achieve this, we do not tolerate spam or other types of manipulation of the platform.  We define platform manipulation as using LibonPost to engage in bulk, extensive, or deceptive activity that misleads others and/or disrupts their experience.

 Platform manipulation takes many forms, and the goal of our laws is to address a wide range of prohibited behaviors, including:

 Spam for commercial purposes, usually intended to direct traffic or interest from a conversation on LibonPost to accounts, websites, products, services or initiatives;

 Inauthentic posts, which attempt to make accounts or content appear more popular or active than they actually are;  And

 Coordinated activity, which attempts to falsely influence conversations through the use of multiple accounts, fake accounts, automation, and/or scripts;  And

 Coordinated malicious activity that encourages or promotes behavior that violates the Liban Post rules.

 What happens if I violate this policy?

 The consequences of violating this policy depend on the severity of the violation and also on your history of prior violations.  The action we take depends on the type of disturbing activity we detect.  The actions we take include the following:

 Challenges of combating spam accounts

 When we detect suspicious levels of activity, the account is closed and required to provide additional information (such as phone number) or resolve a reCAPTCHA challenge.

 Put URLs on the reject list

 We put URLs that we believe are unsafe on a reject list or issue warnings about them.  Read more about unsafe links, including how to file an appeal if we mistakenly consider your URL to be unsafe.

 Delete tweets and temporarily close the account

 If a platform tampering or spam violation is an isolated or first offense, we may take a number of actions ranging from requiring the deletion of one or more Tweets to temporarily terminating the account(s).  Any repeated violations of platform manipulation may result in permanent account suspension.

 If there is a violation involving the use of multiple accounts, you may be asked to choose one account to maintain.  The rest of the accounts will be permanently suspended.

 If we believe you are violating our fake account policy, we may ask you to provide government-issued identification (such as a driver's license or passport) to reinstate your account.

 Permanent suspension

 In cases of severe violations, accounts are permanently suspended from the first instance detected.  Examples of severe violations include:

 Account Management The majority of its behavior violates the above policies;

 Use any of the methods described on this page to influence the integrity of the election;

 Buy/Sell Accounts;

 Create accounts to replace or mimic suspended accounts;

 Manage accounts that Twitter can reliably attribute to entities known to violate the LibonPost rules.
